Meet the Owner

vickiMy family says I have been walking toward being an Herbalist all my life.

My first recollection of doing anything with herbs was later in life when I was put in the presence of a lady that had used herbs medicinally for many years to treat her family and friends. Listening to her talk to me about herbs just resonated in the deepest coils of my body. I started dabbling with herbs and continued to listen and learn.

Apparently, after a short period of time, this fine lady was done teaching me what she had to teach, because I moved to another state.

For a short period of time I didn't do anything with herbs, until I came in contact with another lady that brought them to the forefront again. At this time, I decided I needed some formal training. So I enrolled in an herbal course put out by Dr. John Christopher at the School of Natural Healing. With this intense course my hunger for herbal knowledge was appeased and I began doing some concocting on my own again.

I was certified in 1996 and became a Master Herbalist in 1999 through The School of Natural Healing. But my thirst for knowledge hasn't abated, and I am currently studying Chinese and Western herbs with Michael Tierra.

Since the early 1990's, the emphasis of my herbal and clinical work has been integrating herbal medicine, energy work and prayer to break through chronic illness and lifelong health imbalances. I have taught and lectured to groups in Idaho and Arizona about Herbs and Healing. I am frequently asked to contribute to local and professional magazines and periodicals.

Selling bulk herbs, I feel I am in the position to help people find out how to use herbs for optimal healing, and which ones to put together for a healthful herbal blend.

postcardI continue to learn from some of the premier voices in herbal medicine and transformational healing today.

And I look forward to being able to work with various Health Care Practitioners who want to bring a more integrative approach to their practices.

I strive to maintain my balance with exercise, meditation - both mind and body - family, friends, and laughter.

Herbally Yours,

Vicki V.
